One of the most annoying American cultural imports that I see around is the “I xxx and I Vote” bumper stickers. In a country with universal, mandatory voting these stickers make no sense whatsoever.
In the city today I saw a delivery ute with the biggest pedestrian killing bull bar imaginable. On that bullbar was a sticker that read “I {loveheart} my bullbar and I vote”.
Well guess what, there are probably 50000 people who hate your bullbar and who vote, and about a million people who don’t give a toss either way and who vote.
Now excuse me while I go set up a Cafe Press store for “I Blog and I Vote” merchandise.
