Also from Apple is “GarageBand” – a new component of their iLife suite.
GarageBand a home studio application that allows you to combine live recordings (including virtual guitar amps for special sounds), MIDI sequences and pre-recorded instrument “loops” to create your own music. My descriptions doesn’t really do it justice – you have to see and hear what it can do for yourself. It will be interesting to see if Apple take the next logical step and allow you to publish your GarageBand music to the iTunes Music Store.
