This site was discussed on Slashdot a while ago, but I thought of it again today.
It is well worth a read and should be mandatory reading for any politician that is proposing/supporting a law that affects the Internet. One politician in particular should read and attempt to understand this page.
I am a big fan of explaining by analogy, unfortunately all analogies break down at some point, and the ones we have chosen for the Internet: TV, Telephone, Magazine tend to break down very quickly.
