I have installed iDVD3 on my upgraded eMac.
I didn’t have any problems with the installer complaining about my drive and the software seems to work fine.
I did have some problems burning a DVD – it kept hanging in the burning stage. One of the following things I did seemed to fix it:
- Turning off “power down hard drive” in power management
- Running a “repair permissions”
- Setting the action on inserting a new blank DVD to “ignore”
